Elizabeth Jane Hurley (born Elizabeth Jane Hurley) is an English actress, model and former Hugh Grant girlfriend. She became famous in the early 1990s. In 1994 as Grant became the focus of the world's media due to the box office boom of his movie Four Weddings and a Funeral Hurley accompanied him to the premiere of the film in Los Angeles premiere in a plunged black Versace gown that was secured with gold safety pins that earned immediate media attention. The highlight of Hurley's professional life has been her association with the cosmetics company Estee Lauder. The company gave Hurley her first modeling opportunity when she was just 29. They have used Hurley as a model in their products, particularly perfumes like Sensuous Intuition as well as Pleasures from 1995. Her most well-known film role was as Vanessa Kensington in Mike Myers the hit spy comedy International Man of Mystery (1997) and Austin Powers The Spy Who Shagged Me (1999).
